I could not thank K and the entire Anatoly family enough for their help with my Made to Measure suit for my wedding! My wedding suit journey with them started January 2020 as I planned to get married in June 2020. Like many other Covid brides, that all got postponed and through the entire year of waiting, K was extremely patient and supportive throughout the whole process. By the time plans were finalized to get married in July 2021, I went to see K at the Anatoly store to try on my suit for the first time since our initial appointment one year later. I had lost 35 lbs since our initial appointment and because of this, I was swimming in the suit and K had to basically make me a new suit that fit my new body! A couple of fittings and tweaks later...my suit was perfect. Everyone at Anatoly's is extremely knowledgeable about how a suit should fit and they will give you their honest opinion if something does not look right. Being a woman and finding a suit that fits is extremely hard but K made the whole process super easy and made me feel comfortable the entire time. He will not let you walk out the door until you are completely satisfied. I will definitely be coming back to get more suits made and the most exciting thing is that Anatoly's will be coming out with Made to Measure women's suits!

This place is fantastic!!!! I got a custom suit, shoes, and belt. Working with Kay was an amazing and comfortable experience. I hate shopping in general , but would come here again in a heartbeat. Will be back again!! Update: wedding photos added! Would recommend Anatolys to anyone and everyone.

Anatoly’s is our go-to and absolute favorite for menswear and women’s alterations. I looked everywhere (for years) for a tailor capable of making sweaters and not only could Anatolys do it, they have so many options to customize it to my husbands very specific requirements! We go every year to get a new sweater based off his measurements and we can get tweaks based on the fabric weight or other great suggestions. I’ve had wedding guest dresses altered and hemmed as well. My husband also has had jeans taken in. It’s an absolute joy being a customer here!

Anatoly's is an Oakland gem. Recently, I asked them to help me tailor my wedding suit that was a full-size too big for me. Over a series of fittings, they did a great job making it fit perfectly. I looked like a total stud at my wedding. I have also brought them pants, shirts, and jackets in the past and they help me quickly understand what adjustments to make. Their prices are good and the vibes are on point. Go to Anatoly's!

TLDR: this is the only place I’ll buy a suit and recommend to my friends. I had the best experience with Anatoly and his two sons Kay and Gabe. The three of them make an amazing team, drawing on a balanced range of expertise, styles, and demeanors. Other shops can feel pushy and flat, but at Anatoly’s I never felt rushed to find exactly what worked for me. I ultimately went with one of their “budget” options but am confident they still produced a high quality garment. I hope to wear my wedding suit and custom shoes for decades to come. As long as Anatoly’s is open, they’ll have a loyal customer in me.

My wife and I both purchased our wedding suits at Anatoly’s. Being women, we didn’t know much about suits or what we wanted, but Anatoly’s worked closely with us to figure out our respective styles and landed on some bespoke designs that made us feel incredible on the big day! They accommodated every idea or request that we came up with – they even have custom-made shoes! Their personalized service and attention to fit and detail was top-notch, and our looks felt sharp, timeless, and comfortable. We will be returning for all of our future tailoring and suit needs!

Shout out to Kay and the entire crew! Better late than never for this review but I worked with Anatoly’s on my first ever custom piece of clothing, a suit for my wedding in 2023. I started working on this suit a pretty decent time in advance and Kay did an amazing job; I knew I was in good hands and never felt worried or stressed during the whole process. And even when things felt overwhelming with the near limitless customization choices, Kay walked me through every step and let me know the pros and cons for each material, color, style, etc. I really enjoyed the process, the final product, and working with everybody at Anatoly’s and I can’t wait to come back for more custom outfits!

a very late review: My husband had a made to measure suit with vest done here for our July 2022 wedding. Everything about the process was amazing. K is so knowledgeable and personable and had so much patience as my husband and I had no idea what to expect with the process. There were so many little touches included to make the suit special. Custom embroidered details, color combinations, fabric choices to mix and match. They even created a custom lining fabric using art that is special to my husband’s family! Three years later, and my husband STILL gets compliments when wearing his suit to events!
